This blog is all about change. Change can be tough. Tweaking little things in order to form healthy lifestyle habits can make that change easier.
You may remember a film about a man who was extremely obsessive-compulsive. The man visits a therapist who presents him with a book called "Baby Steps." That man's name is Bob. Through baby steps, Bob is able to accomplish many things despite his OCD. So, what about bob makes him successful? Baby steps...and determination.

All too often when we want to make a change, we are determined, but we seem to bite off more than we can chew at one time. When I was younger, I had a bad habit of eating too fast and putting too much in my mouth at once. (My wife would say I still have that habit). My parents weren't too pleased with my method of eating. Eventually, after choking on my food time and again, I learned to eat more slowly and in smaller bites. Making healthy lifestyle changes in small increments is a great way to keep from metaphorically choking on bad habits.
So, my advice... take it slow. Find something you are wanting to change, set a goal, and then set mini-goals to work to the overall goal. Tweak little things at a time, and you will find yourself forming healthy lifestyle habits.
